MidSouth Mutual Insurance Company is now licensed to operate in South Carolina and Virginia bringing the total number of states the company operates in to thirteen. As of July 15, 2019, the company can write business in the following states including Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, Mississippi, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. In addition, the company is exploring opportunities in a few additional states in the region.
We are pleased to communicate that the company is now writing workers’ compensation insurance for additional classes of business including home healthcare, nursing homes, social work, auto repair shops and other select classes of business. While we maintain a strong focus on the construction industry, we are leveraging our considerable expertise and experience in these segments to the clear benefit of our broker partners and clients.
One of the key objectives of the company has been to further enhance the ease of doing business with MidSouth Mutual. Efforts in this area have included the development of flexible payment plans, streamlined processes and the development of more web-based resources. The latest addition to web-based resources includes the a new quote portal that allows our approved broker partners to secure quotes from a fast and easy to use online platform.
